Meet Kaatje, a cheerful and enterprising young lady who loves the beach, the dunes and the sea. She experiences wonderful adventures together with her faithful dog Mup.

Mup

Mup, always playful and curious, is not only Kate's shadow, but also her courageous companion. She loves going out with Kaatje, sometimes leading, sometimes following, but always ready for a new adventure.

Jeetje

And of course there is Jeetje, Kaatje and Mup's good friend, who always welcomes them to the beach. Jeetje is a true connoisseur of the sea and the surrounding area. With his cool jeep and his endless stories about the beach and the sea, he makes every outing even more adventurous.

Farewell to Joy, my sweet muppy and source of inspiration for Kaatje&Mup
It is with sadness in my heart that I share the news that Joy, my beloved Jack Russel and the inspiration for Mup, passed away on May 18, 2024. For thirteen wonderful years, Joy was more than my faithful friend and supporter; she was the biggest source of inspiration behind Kaatje&Mup. Her unconditional love, cheerfulness and adventurous spirit were the driving force behind countless beautiful drawings, stories and adventures. Joy wasn't just a dog to me; she was an essential part of my life, my roommate and the inspiration behind Kaatje&Mup. Although her loss leaves a big hole, Joy will always have a very special place in my heart. With her as a source of inspiration, we will experience many more wonderful Kaatje&Mup adventures.
